Eurasia Motorsport to Take on Rolex Daytona 24 Hour

Updated: Feb 26, 2021

Philippines-based Eurasia Motorsport will be in the 2021 Rolex 24 at Daytona, racing under the name RWR Eurasia. Teaming up with US-based-Rick Ware Racing and BAM Motorsport Management, the goal is to convert this one-off race into a full season of the Michelin Endurance Cup and IMSA LMP2 Championship. They will be competing in a Ligier JS P217, which is equipped with Brembo brake calipers and Sabelt race harnesses - products distributed by AutoPerformance Ph.

Driving will be Asian Le Mans Series champion Cody Ware, along with 2018 Daytona 500 NASCAR Cup Series race winner Austin Dillon and Salih Yoluç, winner of the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans GTE-Am class. As always, Eurasia will be bringing their complement of Filipino race mechanics, who recently did the country proud by helping in the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team is led by team principal Mark Goddard, who has been quoted as saying "As a driver, I raced around the globe, and I can safely say our Filipino technicians are second to none."
