Brembo Racing
and High Performance
The ultimate statement of power and performance.
Brembo Gran Turismo Kit
The Brembo GT big brake kit is the most popular High Performance system for use on the street or on a track. Each GT Kit
is engineered specifically for each vehicle, which means optimal brake balance and performance. Some vehicles may have multiple GT Kit options, to allow for a wide range of uses. Below are the components found in each Brembo GT big brake kit.
Aluminum Calipers
Brembo has multiple caliper body designs, each designed for specific uses. Caliper combinations are chosen with optimum brake balance in mind, and are designed to be compatible with the car's OEM hydraulic system. The newest Brembo caliper family, the BM-4, BM-6 and BM-8, have a revolutionary design that features internal plumbing and unmatched rigidity for crisp, precise braking every time.
Disc Types
Each GT Kit comes with rotor discs made with advanced metallurgy for greater stopping power and heat dissipation. Four disc types are available (depending on the GT System) - Cross-Drilled, Type 1 slotted, Type 3 slotted and Type 5 slotted. Cross drilled discs are best for primarily road use. Type 1 slotted discs are an all-around option for road and track. Type 3 discs are designed for time attack competition, and Type 5 discs are optimized for endurance racing.
Two-piece floating rotors use Brembo's proprietary fixing hardware called bobbins - the D-type bobbin is for general use, while the H-type bobbin is used in systems with higher brake torque.
Some GT Kits for lower horsepower vehicles may have one-piece rotors which are either cross-drilled or with a Type-1 slot pattern.
FM1000 Performance Brake Pads
The Brembo FM1000 compound pads are included in every Brembo High Performance system. The FM1000 is a proprietary compound that exhibits great initial response, feel and modulation characteristics in a wide range of environments from road use to track duty.
Goodridge Brake Lines
All Brembo GT Systems come with stainless steel braided made by Goodridge. The brake lines are made specifically for use with the Brembo kit to withstand the hydraulic pressures used in high performance braking, and to improve pedal feel and feedback.
Aircraft Grade Aluminum Brackets
The extremely high brake torque exerted by the GT Kit requires extremely strong mounting hardware. Milled from a single billet of aircraft grade T-6061 aluminum and anodized in black, these mounting brackets are an overlooked but vital part of the entire system.
Brembo Original Card
Protect yourself and your car and make sure you are buying a genuine Brembo product. Brembo has responded to the countless counterfeits being sold by creating the Brembo Original Card. On each card is a unique card number and a PIN code, that when input in the Brembo website (original.brembo.com) will inform you of the authenticity and the details of the kit. The Brembo Original Card also acts as your warranty certificate.
Brembo Sport Discs and Pads
Brembo's entry-level high performance products are perfect for spirited road use and occasional track duty. Fully compatible with your car's OE brake system, Brembo Sport Discs and Sport Pads are a great first step up from stock.
Sport Discs
Brembo Sport discs are ideal for enthusiasts who use their vehicles for both normal road use and more performance oriented street driving. These discs are made from high-carbon cast iron for improved thermal and mechanical resistance. They feature exclusive pillar venting technology, and are available in either cross-drilled or slotted designs.
Sport Pads
Designed and tested predominantly for performance-oriented street use, Brembo Sport brake pads represent the first upgrade level for any braking system. The HP2000 offers good all around performance with an emphasis on low dust. These products have been created for drivers who are looking more performance o maximize the potential of their car.

Brembo GT-S, GT-R, CCM-R and Racing Kits
Brembo takes its technologies from their supercar, hypercar, and professional racing experience and uses them in all their High Performance products. But the GT-S, GT-R, CCM-R and Professional Racing brake kits represent the highest levels of performance with little or no compromise. When only absolute braking force is needed in the most extreme of conditions, you can count on these to get the job done.
Brembo GT-S
The race inspired Brembo GT-S Kit is perfect for the club racer that wants to take that next step in braking. These black hard-anodized aluminum calipers have tech derived from the LeMans-winning Ford GT. The pistons include racing style radiators and dual inner piston seals, with an inner pressure seal and an outer wiper seal.
Brembo GT-R
This is the ultimate system intended to be used on the street or track, yet it can be a very potent race system without compromising overall streetability. It combines low noise and comfort of a road system, yet the qualities of a race caliper such as the strength of billet monobloc construction and corrosion resistance of nickel plating.
Brembo CCM-R
Brembo's CCM-R (Carbon Ceramic Material - R) is the ultra-high-end system for the most discerning individual.
This system stems from technologies developed in F1, and is extremely lightweight: typically 5kg (11lbs) lighter than its iron counterpart. CCM-R systems combine superior wear (5x longer than iron), increased thermal capacity, and low weight, with performance greater than most OEM carbon-ceramic systems.
CCM-R kits can be combined with standard GT calipers, GT-S calipers, or GT-R calipers.
Brembo Race Systems
These are the pinnacle of racing systems, purpose-designed to be used in even the highert levels of motorsports. Systems include forged and billet monobloc calipers with titanium piston inserts with hard anodized and a nickel plating for corrosion resistance in the most extreme environments.
A variety of lightweight 2-piece discs are available with optional slot types to discs available in carbon-carbon to help further tune systems for specific disciplines, including open wheel, sports car or off-road racing.
